Agile Software Development
First i would like to start with Agile manifesto
There is no design , construction phase in agile software methodology. You have to keep your waterfall methodology fundamental outside the door.
Agile embraces the idea to design, develop, integrate, deploy project continuously. At any point of time system is ready to deploy. There is a methodology TDD ,test first and code, for testing functionality.
the right, we value the items on the left more.
Three things are important in agile software development
1) Change is the only constant
2) Scope is the control variable
3) structure is flattened

Manifesto for Agile Software Development
We are uncovering better ways of developingsoftware by doing it and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan
the right, we value the items on the left more.

Rational unified process
I would like to start with waterfall model. This model has been adopted from construction engineering. As softwrae development is also an engineering but it is different from all othe engineering in terms of building software. To deal with people for requirement gathering is most critical thing.
Waterfall model is a staged construction model. In which each phase build some concrete artifict and it requires comprehensive documentation.
There are phases like requirement gathering, design, implementaion, verification and maintenance.
Waterfall model is useful when requirements are freezes in early phase.
Now talk about RUP(Rational Unfied Process). If we look history Rational Corporation is hired b y IBM.Rational corporation followed s/w development process called as Objectory process. Then it has been called rational Objectory Process.
So finally IBM come up with Rational Unified Process with best practices followed by organization.
RUP consists of different nine disciplines.Among them six are engineering and three are support disciplines.

The Aladdin Factor - Jack Canfield
So many times you don't know what to ask and if you know what to ask then you don't know how to ask.
Because of this confusions you don't get what is your desire, your willingness.
You have some fear inside you which hinders you to stop asking. And this fear actually is generated by yourself.Isn't it?
People have ego to ask because they feel it will depict their unawareness or they don't have that self esteem and confidence. Some of them think it deprive someone success to ask.
The one quote i remember is that "You don't always get what do you want but you never get which you never ask."
What do you say?
People have fears to ask that what will be the response is i will ask this and that etc.
Before asking something they have their pre-assumption of negative thoughts.
but you have to ask yourself follwing question
-What will i loose if i ask?
-What will be the most likely to be happen?
-Image the positive result after asking what do you want.
